Most Valuable Player

Christine Dela Rosa

Clovis West, senior

A member of the inaugural Central Section badminton championship team in 2007, she helped the Golden Eagles defend their Valley title. Individually, Dela Rosa, playing No. 1 singles, was the runner-up at the Valley individual tournament. The Eagles' MVP was a three-time All-City girls basketball selection. She scored an 11-3, 11-4 win in Clovis West's 9-2 victory over Roosevelt in the section championship.

Rookie of the Year

Chiara Nardocci

Clovis, freshman

Clovis High's MVP, Nardocci scored two victories -- one regular season and one postseason -- over All-City MVP Christine Dela Rosa. The freshman finished fifth in the Valley singles tournament.

Coach of the Year

Craig Campbell

Clovis West

After taking over for James Gambrell, who left for Central Unified, Campbell led the Eagles to a perfect 14-0 record and a second straight Valley crown.
