Barbara J. Crowell

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. May 23 at Boice Funeral Home for Barbara J. Crowell, 77, of Clovis. Boice Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Crowell, a realtor in residential real estate for 20 years, died May 16.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine A. Cookingham, of Salem, Ore.; two sons, James F. Crowell, Jr., of Fresno, and Thomas A. Crowell, of Fresno; a sister, Marjorie Sassano, of Fresno; two brothers, George Montross, of Kingsburg, and Robert Montross, of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and two grandchildren, Paul and Emily Cookingham, of Salem, Ore.

Remembrances may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817-2215.

Joseph E. Dolan

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. May 31 at Kingdom Hall of Clovis for Joseph E. "Papa Joe" Dolan, 87, of Clovis. Boice Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Dolan, a salesman for PPG Industries for 27 years, died May 16.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Dolan, of Clovis; four daughters, Margie Wheless, and her husband, Ron, of Clovis, Juanita Bandarra, and her husband, George, of Murray, Ky., Jonetta Reynolds, and her husband, Bill, of Fresno, and Janet Fels, and her husband, Mike, of Lancaster; a sister, Shirley Harger, and her husband, Lewis, of Delano; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Pedro Alestino Martinez

Funeral services were held May 22 for Pedro Alestino Martinez, 51, of Fresno. Wildrose Chapel & Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Martinez, a farm laborer for various farms, died May 19.

He is survived by his wife, Armida Martinez; two sons, Pedro Frank Martinez, and Robert Rios; five grandchildren, Karissa Lucero, Cruz Lucero, Ruben Lucero, Monica Murillo, and Manuel Murillo; and a great grandson, Casey Ruiz.
