We welcome story ideas, guest columns, letters to the editor and historical photos for the Forum page. All editorial content is determined by Editor Patti J. Lippert, and the Forum page opinions are produced by a three-person editorial board.

Guest columns

Specifications: All guest columns must have a Clovis link, either through author or subject matter. They must be no longer than 750 words and may be edited for clarity or due to space limitations. We do not accept poetry, verse, artwork or fiction. We encourage columns that deal with schools, parenting, local government, growth or public safety issues in Clovis.

Include name, address and daytime telephone number on all materials. Manuscripts cannot be returned.

Letters to the editor

May be submitted by mail or e-mail. All letters must be signed and include a daytime phone number for verification. Historical photos

Should be of good quality and include a person, time or place in Clovis history. Include cutline information (an explanation of who or what is in the photo and its relevance to Clovis) and name of photographer, if possible. If arrangements are made in advance, photos can be returned. Send or hand-deliver to:
